The real history of the band FlameSoul from Prague has started to be written from fall 2006. At that time Ayen (leading vocals), Matt (guitar, vocals), Julia (synth, key), Cipa (drums) and Bogo (bass) started to create together. Matt a Ayen knew each other from an earlier rock band, where they had met (later also Julia joined this band). In this period there were set the basics of the FlameSoul’s repertory and they gained experiences with live shows as well. From the fall 2006 FlameSoul have being made many new songs, that can be described like metal/rock with elements of inspiration in some others music genres. So they suceeded in creating an extensive and varied repertory, that is so characteristic for FlameSoul. However, the majority of music is being composed by Matt and the lyrics is being written mainly by Ayen, every member of FS seems to be irreplaceable in his effort for band.

In the summer 2007 FlameSoul took part in the music competition called “Skutečná liga”, which took place in the club Matrix in Prague. They managed to catch audience’s and also jury’s fancy with their music and typical high-energetic show. The luck , the enthusiasm and the support of fans brought the band straight to the final battle. It took place 12/1/2007 , where FlameSoul played next to the bands like: X-left to die, Fenris etc. This competition brought many experiences and also many opportunities for the band FS. For instance, they were invited to play at the MOVE 2007 festival’s workshop (next to the bands: Sunflower Caravan, Southpaw etc.), where they were watched by an international jury. In the following private discussion between the band members and Alain Osowski and Fernando Ladeiro-Marques, the both experts appreciated the abilities of the band and at the same time stated, that FlameSoul had chosen very complicated way because of their repertory and opinions concerning music.

At the second half of July 2007 recorded FlameSoul their first DEMO in the Andy’s Sound studio (in Havlíčkův Brod). Demo 2007 consists of 5 songs, that were chosen for listeners to get to know the music of FlameSoul. FlameSoul is not only the flame of emotions, but also the flame of friendship among the band members.FlamSoul finds itself just at the beggining of its history, but the band has built the firm basics and opinions. First of all it is the neverending effort to be the best they can be in making their music and performing shows. The goal is, fuck with people´s minds!
