Eduardo Peralta (a.k.a. Lion of Elvira) begins his career in the reggae world in the year 2005 in Germany, where he organizes and participates in different musical events among this style. He is guest selector in the monthly Trommelbass in the Rosenkeller (the second oldest student club in Germany) of Jena invited by the local soundsystem Palmbeats International. Also in Jena, creates the radio program "Rasta Vibrations" in the OKJ Radio and a selector festival with the same name sharing stage with Risind Sound (Gambia), Still Smoka Hi-Fi (Erfurt - Germany) and the famous thuringian selector King Step On It (Saalfeld - Germany). Since November 2006 is resident selector in Upsetter Cueva, well known reggae club in Granada (Spain) and the only one in Andalucia with live reggae selectors 365 days a year. During the same month performs in the Dýdý Baba Club (Pardubice - Czech Republic) being really warm welcomed by the local audience. In the summer 2007 takes part in various reggae and D&B nights in the Koupacek of Nový Bor (Czech Republic) and is guest selector in the already dissapeared radio station Akropolis in Prague. Nowadays participates frequently in the jamaican music scene from his seat in Marburg (Germany), specially with the local soundsystem SoundControl International and his founder Selecta M.
Lion of Elvira's style is fairly large, going from early ska, rocksteady, 90's dancehall to nu-roots and ragga jungle. Always respecting all those selectors who prefer the vynil, he comes using new technologies in his sessions with the philosophy that "no matter where the music comes from as long as the audience can feel the reggae vibrations".
