Born in Costa Rica started his musical career at the age of 9 studying clarinet at the Costa Rican National Symphonic Orchestra Institute of Music, in the meantime he will spend hours and hours playing other instruments like piano, violin, saxophone and drums. As and adolescent he continued major studies on music education and orchestra conducting. With a wide experience and knowledge on classical music and opera, he is hired every year on the Costa Rican annual opera season to work on the stage direction. His first steps on his DJ career began at the age of 21 alongside renowned Costa Rican DJ Melissa O who noticed his musical qualities and intelligent sense of rhythm and groove, and invited him to warm-up on her parties; his smart-building warm up sets suddenly trapped the senses of the Costa Rican mature house scene.

As part of the Half Seas Over roster he started to headline numerous important line-ups at Costa Rican famous Club Vertigo, were he played at parties with DJs like Fatboy Slim, Robag Whrume, Anthony Collins, the legend Pete Bones among others. Influenced by the music of great producers like Ricardo Villalobos, Zip, Dyed Soundorom, Vera, Rhadoo and many more, his blowing-mind sets are samples of intelligent music with low-slung, dark-n-druggy and sexy brand of deep sounds with a mature sense of groove.
Paul recently moved to Berlin where he’s doing his first steps as a producer and in the search of new sources of inspiration, his musical abilities and sensitivity will take the crowd into a dark atmosphere with a bit of old-school house sounds on long-lasting sets.
